On its way to North Korea, the luxury yacht of a big pharma company is destroyed by a major, extremely literal shitstorm. The survivors get stranded in Tromaville, where the brilliant scientist Prospero is plotting his revenge on all the pharma execs who have immorally capitalized on his not-for-profit research. In what he calls his last movie, Troma boss Lloyd Kaufman has adapted Shakespeare’s Tempest as a shrewd, vulgar, anarchic gross-out satire of corporate culture and its lackeys—complete with gallons and gallons of bodily fluids, musical numbers, mutants, and the most magnificent anilingus in film history. A Tromasterpiece!

Lloyd Kaufman
born in 1945 in New York City, has produced over a hundred films and directed over fifty films. He is also a screenwriter and actor, and—iconic in the cult-movie world—founder of the Troma Entertainment film studio (1974), best known for low-budget trash and splatter films. Kaufman helmed many of their feature films himself, such as The Toxic Avenger (1985) and Tromeo and Juliet (1996). In 1999 he founded the TromaDance Film Festival. Lloyd Kaufman was the guest of honor at the SLASH 2014. The festival also hosted the Austrian premieres of his films Return to Nuke ‘Em High Vol. 1 (SLASH 2013) and Return to Return to Nuke ‘Em High aka Vol. 2 (SLASH 2017).
