The year is 1995, and Aaron and Malik move to the country with their teenage daughter. Initially, the gay couple is welcomed into the tight-knit community with (all too) open arms. But Malik, who as a teenager fell victim to a hate crime with his then-boyfriend, soon begins to suspect more sinister doings behind the slick facade. Is his growing paranoia rooted in his early trauma or is small-town America actually a hotbed of evil? Spiral is a horror thriller where you watch things derail in slow-motion, and the fears of (not only) minorities intensify until behind the walls, among the hedges, normal life rears its ugly head. A nightmare!
